Flu shots are recommended in every
trimester, unless you have an allergy to the vaccine. Every trimester. The
old flu vaccine is recommended because it’s inactivated. Flu and pregnancy
can be very life-threatening. Pneumonia, meningitis, brain abnormalities,
respiratory problems, so we do recommend that all pregnant patients get flu
vaccine, all trimesters.
