techniques on how to help with back pain during pregnancy today we’re going to be
talking about how to use a product called pregnancy tape to help with sciatic
pain during pregnancy throughout the video what you’re doing is I’m be
showing you how to properly put it on and then I’m also be showing different
pregnqncy taping techniques on how to actually increase the life expectancy of the pregnancy tape
so you can keep it on for a longer period of time right and if you stay

bottom sciatic pain pregnancy traditionally can stem from the SI joint which is here and
here specifically looking for the two dimples and it can go down the side over
here alright first up what you want to do is you want to have them slightly
bend over or just while you doing that it’s just stretching it back a little
bit and then what you’re gonna do is take your pregnancy tape you’re gonna measure
that SI joint SI joint want to get a little bit beyond that so much about
there just outside of the SI joints they’re gonna take the tape cut it Bend
the tape in half like such you’re gonna round over the edges like this the
reason why you’re rounding the edges is so that the tips like that don’t get
caught on the clothing and when you’re doing that it extends a life I want you
keep the tape on for it you can keep the tape on for traditionally five to seven
days and you can also wear it in the pool take a shower with it I’ll do any
sports activities sweating it and it’ll stay on and maintain the same support
then you’re going to pull the tape back about an inch to each side just like
such once you’ve done that you want to put
about 80% tension then you look for the two SI joints which is right here here
and take you stretch it over that section like this and then put no
attention for the anchors the anchors are gonna been in to opposite sides okay
now that it’s on there just give a nice rub what this going to do is going to
activate the adhesive so the glue starts taking it off maintain support now when
the SI joint down when it’s running simply run in this direction so you want
to tape it in that direction as well so a light little nice little measurement
which we want in just a little bit above this pregnancy tape here and right there
like that again fold and a half round off the tips
like this there you go again just like we did before tear it in the center like
such then pull this down a little bit here okay we’re going to do is we want to put a
base ink or right here and pull it up the si-joint was right here rubbed
activate the glue 50% pull just like that okay go ahead stand up you’re gonna
notice that some do get some creases in that’s perfectly fine
